Going to try Ramshot Big Game and Varget at the recommendation of Pharmseller.

Also have some H414, RL-15 and H/IMR-4350 I will try if the first two don't give me what I am looking for.

This will be with 120 and 140 grain bullets.

An upper mid range load (around 40 gr?) of crunchy old IMR4064 worked real well for me with 150s.

RL15, H380 and Big game. H380 worked very well with 150gr partitions, while Big game worked better with the Hornady ELDX.

I have used RL16, H414, Varget and Big Game . All have been really good with 140-150 NBT's and 140 gr Sierra GK's. Currently I am using Big Game with 150 gr NBT.

Just shy of that charge with 140/145gr bullets in mine. Around 2,700 in 18-20” barrels.

Daughter’s rifle shoots a book max charge of H4895 with the 120TTSX for 3,000fps in a 20” barrel.

Dad’s 18” Ruger American gets CFE223 and the 120NBT for 3,100+, which was surprisingly good.

For you all using the 150 grain bullets in the 7-08 what are the advantages of using it over the 140 grain?

I have a 7-08 on the way that will be used for whitetail to 300sh yards but 99% of the shots will be under 100 yards.

big Game, RL 15, H4350, and Varget. One of these will do it all. I too prefer Big Game.

Resistance is futile.

Obey lawful commands. Video interactions. Hold bad cops accountable. Problem solved.

I,m using PP2000MR, RL17, RL16, Big Game, W760, Hunter, Norma MRP and RL26. The MRP and RL26 work good for bullets

over 150gr. I shoot a lot of 120gr Barnes TTSX in my TIKKA .
