No turkey, no pie, no decorations, not parades and defiantly no football.
Last Sunday my wife was busted up pretty badly after being thrown from her mule.
She remains in ICU and I spent yesterday sitting with her, talking. She is heavily sedated so the conversation was completely one-sided.
Leaving her room I looked back, looked at the equipment, looked at the Nurse only two feet away. Top shelf people..
I was struck, swamped really, by the sensation of just how much I had to be Thankful for.

I lead my wife 4-0 in "seeing one's spouse in a hospital bed." I cant stand the feeling, it is helplessness, so I know exactly how you feel. It sounds like she is in good hands though - sending prayers from Colorado!

š¬š Crossed my mind. We have four horses and a mule. You just can't trust them. My wife has over 50 years riding experience. Then, in a literal blink........ I have two absolute rules as far as a mule goes, horses also. Don't walk or stand behind them. Watch their ears. Them ear go back, something about to go on.
