It was fun to watch everyone snap to attention and salute him (including the Course Attendant who came too check on us). He is a 2x Ace and a few AF folks might kinda know about him.
Fun fact: We had the course to ourselves, and we had to pull the flag stick and lay it on the ground after every hole. The AF Acadamy is RICH with elk and they see the flags and will trample the greens to get after the flags if not pulled.

Played 36 total, yesterday and today at the NCAA Division-I course at the Air Force Academy with my BIL (Ret. Colonel) Course was closed. No crowds.

Have you ever been on the AF Academy? If so, in what capacity? I have been there, many, many times. My BIL and SIL volunteer at the AF chapel. They house young cadets in their spare rooms for the holidays. BIL mentors a dozen or more young cadets each year. Takes them into his home. I am friends many of their mothers and fathers. I duck hunt with a few of the die hard hunters. For those who have no idea, the Colorado Spring AF community is REALLY tight. Those of you in the area, know what I am talking about.
