Since we are facing a likely Kamala Harris presidency (with Joe Biden as a figurehead), I purchased some magazines for my carry gun. I included four ten-rounders in the order. If there is a new assault weapons ban, I want to be ready before everyone else is forced to buy compliant magazines and they become scarce. Just thought I would put that out there for everyone to consider.

It was galling to buy the ten-rounders since I live in a free state. But, I can use them for training and spare some wear on my more valuable standard capacity magazines.

You ALREADY think in terms of "ASSAULT RIFLE" and COMPLIANCE propaganda. You in the military?

How many ASSAULT RIFLES do you own??

Don't answer that. Just obfuscate. Be Well, RZ.

Dude, there's covid all over those mags. You'd better go get vaccinated quick.

It’s estimated that their are between 20 and 30 million AR’s in this country and I don’t know anyone that has 10rnd mags for them. I can’t even imagine how many 12/15/17 and more round mags their are for handguns in this country. I can’t believe that very many people will be turning them in or paying a tax on ones they already own.

For M4s, I have a few that I use for coyotes.

At today's prices, a $10+ dispenser reduces my urges to quickly dispense the $20+ and $30+ or even $40+ volleys that are SO easy on the range with my larger mags.

Well around here we have armor plated zombie coyotes that takes at least 2-3 30 round mags to kill em. 😜
Actually I am not sure it’s legal to hunt coyotes in this state with a 30 rounder or even 10, I do know that it is illegal to carry a loaded rifle/shotgun in the vehicle. That said I do have 3-4 5’s and the same amount of 10’s. Easier to use at the range, and just as functional for yotes.

Well way I figure it , I need a couple of 5 rd mags if I was to use it deer or antelope hunting by the existing regs .Couple of 10's would be handy for bench shooting even though I can get by with GI 20's. 30's are a pain in the ass for my normal use but I think those are going to fly off the shelves pretty quick. Mb

Right now the 5 and 10’s are hard to get, plus they be about twice the price of 30’s. PSA has all kinds of 30, 60 and 100 rounders but no 5 and the 10’s are about 25 bucks. 30 round PMags are still about 12-13. Good to know as all my 30’s met an untimely death.

For what it's worth.................THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN ASSAULT WEAPON............That's a phrase coined by the anti gunners way back in 1968.........A GUN-FORK-SHOVEL-STICK........Can't assault anything. Because it's an inert object...........ONLY PEOPLE CAN ASSAULT OTHER PEOPLE............When you use that term you are playing into their hands.

I remember when the buzz word was Saturday night special. Once those were gone, we had nothing to worry about. They will never stop.

My name is Scott F and I have two ten round mags for my AR. I find them handy when varmint calling. If zombies attach I have pounds of 400 gr pure lead bullets cast an powder coated in yellow green with a coat of clear glow in the dark that fit real nice in my Marlin 45-70. I am not expecting to have to make a last stand to defend my AR. Living way to close to Portland I have a lot better chance of a zombie attack.

I like the 10 round magazines, have 5 of them. They are much better on the bench or with a bipod. They also conserve ammunition. 😁

I could be mistaken but I believe the democratic plan for the new AWB will not have a grandfather clause.
