Hello all. I have a few questions regarding the 154 grain SP Interlock, as I have no load info for this particular bullet. At this time I have IMR-4350, H-4350 and RL 19 powders that seem suitable. Also have some CCI-200 primers to start with. Anyone have any loads utilizing these components? I'd also like opinions on this bullet for deer at 7X57 velocities. Thanks for your time....Fishster

Excellent all round bullet in this case.
I like 760 as I find it gets higher velocities than any 4350 but they also work fine as the 7x57 is a miniature .30/06 anyway.

If your rifle is modern and not an ex military sample, I would use H 4350 and start at 45 grains and work up shooting groups as you go until you reach an easy extracting maximum, which "could" be up around 50 grains depending on the throat length.

47 gr of H-4350 is a good middle ground load that works in many rifles, and should give you close to 2,700 fps from a normal 22-inch hunting rifle.

Experimenting with IMR-4350 will probably end you up at about the same load: 47.0 to 47.5 grains.

You didn't say what you were hunting, but try the RN Interlocks. The accuracy inside 200 yards is usually quite good. If you are trying to reach out there, the SST and Interbond plastic-tipped boattails shoot pretty flat and retain a lot of energy beyond 300 yards.

The neat thing about the 154 grain bullets is the variety available that often shoot to the same spot inside 200 yards, but offer a variety of performance at ranges from 50 to 500 yards. There are even some good cast bullets for sillouette shooting

Yep, 47gr of H4350 behind a 154 is the load I use in my 7x57. Gives me 2780 from a 23" barrel
