Utah faces a dictate that will be at a state near you soon enough. No social gathering outside of immediate family, "2 week" lockdown, exceptions for sporting events in playoffs/championship games....$10,000.00 Fines for disobedience.

All College and high schoolers involved in extra curricular activities are required to be tested.
This is where it starts. Once parents and young adults comply, they know that the rest will follow.
Many universities already require periodic testing of students.

Our girls soccer was working toward a third or forth shot at states.
Football was in the second or third after season game. Not important enough to really care.

Several schools have went online only, ones that were done with fall sports.
We figured those teams were all that was keeping this school open.
The girls list a week or so ago.
The boys last Saturday.
This Friday was the last school day.
I hate Wolf, but they are blaming the closing now on him.

No professional sports cancelled during the "deadly pandemic" and politicians caught weekly not wearing masks and not social distancing and gathering in crowds and supporting masses of looters.

I think that they have gotten too civilised to let that cross their minds these days. If anything, they'll get tens of thousands of young morman missionaries enlisting in the gnors task force to maintain compliance.

Yawn. I am in SLC and it is business as usual. So you put on a mask to go in a store. BFD. Until I see an actual miscarige of justice here in Utah I am not to worried about this. I did not watch the 40 some odd minutes of this ameture video. Life goes on. BTW it is fun putting on a mask to go into gun stores and liquor stores.....

Seriously the govenor is trying to persuade people to slow the spread. In Utah we have a weird balance of being courteous and carrying guns. We clearly understand Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

So we will mostly be sensible but we will ultimately do what we want too. Has a single fine been levied?

Ya, the little bit that I watched the guy is blowing alot of hot air. It's business as usual. I own a small business, don't require masks nor do I wear one. Some customers wear them, but most do not. And I'm in Salt Lake County the liberal hot spot of Utah .

Don't give Washington any ideas.
