Saw a true monster of a 3x3 up high running ridgetops looking for does last weekend. Man what a buck.

Seems like you always see them after the season. frown

except when its Elk Season and you can't shoot em....

They were pretty thick in my neighborhood also this year....

and some big ones like that, and one with a much bigger rack than that..

he had to be a mule deer cross.... he was a huge deer... first time I saw him, I though he was a Pygmy Elk....

I swear the day after the season closed, some of the nicest bucks were seen sniffing around on my property! I guess I shouldn't be surprised, it happens every year!

Lol..... it’s my brothers problem, not mine.
They enjoy seeing the does, fawns and young bucks year around. But come the rut, the big boys drop off the hill to chase the ladies and rub on the bro’s nice new tree plantings! Ha!
They have a lot of turkeys as well. Fun to watch the mating ritual, but really pisses him off when they scratch up every corner of his yard plantings...... we whittle the Toms down a bit during season.

You sound like my wife. I had to cripple on sticks in the corners around the Cherry trees.

That works great for the blacktails, but the bear just plowed through it!

Doggone it, I never see bucks like that. All I ever encounter are spindly little spikes and forkies, mainly eating my wife's roses.
