Edit: we are talking actual distance, as in a laser rangefinder shot back from the ball to someone standing on the tee box.

I could spank it pretty good with that metal wood, but metal just doesn't feel right, after watching the greats use wood for so many years. Golf is supposed to be about tradition and class......something you don't have.....
