What do you listen to, when, and why?

Myself, KWMT radio, Fort Didge, Iowa mostly.

Markets, weather, classic country music.

Mostly when I'm driving alone, pickup .or tractor.

I stopped listening to the radio years ago. Those commercials drive me crazy. Its like their hollering at you. Maybe thats the idea. I was driving with my Cuz in his pickup a few days ago and he had it on. I asked him if I could turn it off.

Pandora via Apple Carplay. With the hot rods it makes no sense.

When they used ta play classical music from 01 to 05 timeline
"Used ta" are the key words.
Now NPR is the propaganda channel of the Liberal Socialist Democrat party and we fund the fuggs with our tax dollars.

I don't listen to the radio.

Only Pandora at home. Generally on Friday.

Rory, I figure if the classic is still about after 500 years, it can't be so bad.

None whatsoever. I have yet to turn on the radio in my Highlander, and I've been driving it for six years now.

There has not been been any actual music since Credence Clearwater, and talk shows are just the same blather over and over. I listen to neither, anywhere.

I gave up on radio years ago. The only thing that I listened to in my youth was what is now considered "More than Oldies". I cannot stand talk radio and NPR gives me the vapors.

I have scads of Old Time Radio shows on my devices, plus music I actually like, uncompressed, and organized into playlists. Lots of classic books are there too. With the election over, I’m done with Talk Radio for the time being as well.

Always been a radio guy, but it’s left me, and the web has kicked its azz.

As a kid growing up in Eastern AZ we didnt have any radio stations close enough to listen to during the day. (Hell we only 2 fuzzy tucson tv channels that came off a mountaintop repeater). After dark we could get KOMA in OK City, KOB Albq, and on a good night we could get WSM Louisiana Hayride. So thats what I listened to and thought that was where the world ended.

Nowdays we still dont have good radio reception here so I listen mostly to SiriusXM....Outlaw Coounty or Roadhouse when driving, but when working in my garage its Pandora on Townes Van Zant, Kristofferson, Dylan, Guy Clark or similar.

I actually don't. In the years before we got TV, we had a console radio/record player. The only things that I remember it being on for was Albert City Polka Time and for school closings.

That was back when WHO broadcasted country music coast to coast every night with 50,000 watts. I could occasionally get it in San Antonio during the night as well many years ago.
