I was perusing the Nosler website and noticed they no longer list any Partition offerings in the 7mm-08 ammunition. Went over to Federal’s website and they no longer advertise any 7mm-08 Partitions either.
Did Nosler quit offering 7mm-08 Partitions? I emailed them over a week ago but haven’t gotten any response.
Anyone know what’s going on?

Outstanding reason to call RCBS, Nosler, and Lapua with cc in hand.

The 150gr partition for the 270 Win says currently unavailable as well...I wonder if it’s going to be dropped. I emailed them over month ago and never heard back.

I don’t know what is going on at Nosler. I have been trying for over 4 months to get .25 cal bull it’s and .257 Robert’s cases. I have called and I am on a notification list but nothing. It seems they aren’t making anything. 🤷🏻♂️

Unless previously set up & supplied, reloading may not be the solution. But it is a step in the right direction.

A pretty okay bullet and always a deceased animal at the end of the trail, but the smaller diameter folded over back half of the Partition going out the back side never gave me the blood trails that I was looking for. I’ve been happier is Interlock, Core-lokt, SST and BT’s.

I can't imagine that Nosler would discontinue factory loaded Partitions in a caliber as popular as the 7mm-08. Most all loaded ammo in popular calibers is showing to be on backorder and some not even available for backorder at this time. Hopefully, once Covid is under control and the current ammo buying frenzy from the political turmoil is over, manufactures will get back to normal production. If not, I'm damn happy that I reload and have a decent supply of Partitions for my 7mm-08's and other calibers where I use this bullet.
That said, I will be disappointed if goes the way of the 300 grain Partition .458 bullet. It was once fairly popular among hunters that reload for the 45-70 Gov't. Unfortunately, I guess there weren't enough shooters and hand loaders to make it a viable product to continue production. I still have two boxes left and someday, when I know that 100 rounds will last me a lifetime (I'm nearly 70 so, it coming) , I'll reload me some dandy Nosler Partition hunting rounds for my 45-70's.
Start young, hunt hard, and enjoy God's bounty.

All the more reason to start loading your own with 150 grain Partitions in hand.

Goodness knows handloading hasn’t saved me any money when you factor in equipment costs and stuff that didn’t work out.
BUT.. depending on factory products that can and do go away without notice puts you forever at the whims of manufacturers and the market. Components come and go too, but usually you can stock up ahead a bit to give you a cushion. They sure don’t make a practice of announcing stuff being discontinued; you have to find out here or occasionally in loading guides or on retailer websites. Gotta stay on your toes and keep ahead of things.
What fresh Hell is this?

If Nosler is pretty quiet, it may be that most of the workforce (women) are at home. The inspection, packing ,shipping and admin is all women. Redmond, Bend and Sisters are holding their breath waiting for each weeks covid numbers. Factor in that Deschutes County is blue for Biden, so they buy into what Kate Brown mandates without question??? It's my guess that Nosler is more or less shut down.
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

I have two 7MM/08's and at least four other 7MM rifles therefore lots of bullets. It's a rare day when I buy a box of factory ammo. Earlier this year I couldn't find a 375 or 416 bullet to save my azz but they became available and I think these will to.Like powder when you see what you want/need don't be bashful at the check out.
