Wish the hospital said something monday. Could have avoided some risk.

Heard about somebody I know getting it. Rough week of fever anf cough and then pulled out of it.

On the bright side, maybe get a mild case and just be done w it. Or be the 85% that cruise through

Gunshow exposure big time.
Especially if he set up a table .
100,s of people constantly walking by and stopping.

Felt like the worst cold I ever had.
Ate 4 designer ice cream cones the day I really felt fugged up oncoming symptom wise.
Couldnt taste the 3 chocolate varity ones.
Barely could taste the strawberry one after I ate the outer core to get to the strawberry center.
Pissed me off... spent 10 or 11 bucks on em.
And knew they was good tasting but couldnt taste schitt.
That was my C19 test. LOL!!!


Sometimes elderly just refuse to listen to anything anyone says to them for their own good.

My covid test was taking a big.whiff of cleaning ammonia and smelling nothing...

Two days of tired and achy was it for me...

I got the covid from a really tired co worker in my truck, for the whole day, It took about 3-4 days for symptoms to show up in me. It took me about2.5 weeks to get over with head aches ,eys were burning and sinus congestion. My wife got it from me and did better except one night she did have trouble breathing. Drink all the water you can and zinc and other cold type cures seem to lessen its effects. I took longer because I have since found out that I have cancer in my neck which was taxing my immune system . Relatively simple surgery will be its cure God willing.

Sorry to hear that man. I’m in the same boat right now except my whole (at home) family has it; my wife, our 18 yo son, and I all tested positive. Our 13 yo daughter and 16 yo son have had it but not tested. Our 22 & 26 yo daughters don’t live with us and have this far dodged the bullet. Wife has been hit hard like a severe flu

Not exactly sure when my quarantine ends but only a few days in and it’s driving me nuts. Friends and family have helped us w/ groceries and I’m doing a fresh neck roast in the crock tomorrow but my taste is pretty handicapped right now so the joy of that is minimal.

I may have to slip up north and check in on a buck I located during gun season when I brought this home... pretty sure it was a couple buddies at deer camp but I’ll not give that up for a flu bug. Now I feel a little badly since my wife is getting hit so hard.

The inability of family to visit their loved one is an often overlooked impediment to a quick recovery, in my opinion. I believe that love is not just an emotion but an emotion with curative properties. Anticipating a visit from you or your sister could be enough incentive for your dad to “hold on”, if there are enough of those “hold on” moments before you know it you’re over the worst of it.

We dealt with my father in law and his Alzheimer’s for years until it became unsafe and we were forced to put him in a Alzheimer’s care home. He couldn’t remember much but he anticipated our visits and I think that gave him some extra time. When this Kung Flu hit we couldn’t visit him and we saw a rapid decline in his overall health. At the end of this journey we knew that he didn’t have long and we dearly wanted to visit him so I arranged a “compassionate visit”. They allowed 2 of us at a time in the room with gown, gloves and mask but that was for the protection of the other residents of the home, not him. We spent all day there rotating in and out, we were all able to spend time with him to say our goodbyes....that was for us since dad was unconscious and his breathing was labored.

I hope your sister is able to visit him and that gives her some measure of comfort and peace.

Sis was full PPE and was allowed to talk to him from a distance. For a short while.

I'd be getting him to a dr who treated with Hydroxychloroquine, zinc etc or inhaled budesonide or to a vet who would give you 4 ivermectin tablets for your dogs worms.
