The Marlin 336 Model 30-TK was only produced from 1989-91. The "T" stood for the Texan straight stock, and the "K" for K-Mart for whom they were produced. What makes the 30-TK unique is in the manner that the magazine tube was attached to the barrel which differed from their other rifles with a 3/4 magazine tubes. This mounting system made the 30-TK what is considered the most accurate 336 Marlin ever produced. I touched up the metal only where necessary and the stock refinished with a dark walnut finish. I have added the following Ranger Point Precision enhancements: Reduced trigger kit; Pistol grip lever; Quick takedown lever screw; Flyweight loading gate spring; Aluminum magazine follower; and hammer spring. Also added a XS Sight Lever Scout Mount.

There is not a scratch or dent anywhere on the stock or fore end and the metal is 100%. Barrel is rust fee with no pitting whatsoever. My asking price is: $950 to include shipping to Lower 48.

I've never heard or read this. Where did you find it?

It was connected with a barrel band on the stock.End caps are touted to be the most accurate. The barrel is attached to the tube with a dovetailed section under the bottom and a screw run up through the tube the same as any 336 SCs or 336As.

Here is a TK that I refinished to bring out the woods true colors.
