Not concerned with the contour so much, but it is for my 12 year old son to use on his stevens 200 so maybe nothing too heavy. he's wanting it for deer/antelope hunting so a 1:10,12 twist or faster is preferred.

Well as it turns out the seller backed out after we had a deal made. because I wouldn't buy extra parts after repeatedly telling him I didn't need them. then he edited his PM's after the fact when he saw he was in the wrong. Learned all I need to about how grouse08 operates!
So I'm still in the market for a barrel for my kid. 22-250 or 22-250 AI. prefer a 1:10 twist but a 1:12 would work. heavier than sporter but not more than bull. fluted would be great, threaded for suppressor is ideal.
