Trying to get some information of huge lot of casting and reloading equipment I just purchased. I believe it came from Charles Johnson personal collection. He was a popular gunsmith in Ohio from the 1930s to the 1970s. I think. There are some hand written notes and his name signed on the papers. The collection is all Lyman ideal and there are some really interesting pieces. Including 2 lube presses with his name on them CC Johnson. Anyways if anyone is interested or think they might have some more information and would like to contact me. My number is eight one two six nine seven 4570.

Yes, pics of the stuff would be interesting to view. I assume the lubrisizers are standard Lyman issue but with his name on them?

CC Johnson was a renowned barrel man, mainly .22 match barrels. Barrels/guns with his name on them are as prized today (among the cognoscenti) as they were 70 years ago. If a guy offered me a single shot rifle with a CC Jonson barrel on it I would reach for my wallet faster than Matt Dillon drawing his hogleg out of its holster!
