Id like to put a sling on my Ruger 10/22. What is the best way to mount one especially on the front end? Wondering if there is a mount that fits on or replaces the band.

The barrel band front mounts need be thinned quite a bit where the screw goes through them in order for the barrel band to be tight to the stock when the qd stud is installed.
