I’m trying to figure out the value of my rifle. It’s a stainless steel, laminated stock Remington 700 mountain rifle in 708, it’s in great shape , it does have the jlock on the bolt. It appears to have barely even been shot..picture is not exact rifle
I bought one a few months ago just like it in a 260 Rem. Beautiful rifle! I looked for a long time for its twin in 7-08 but didnt find one. These are nice guns
Like everything else, they have been creeping up; and some of the auction prices are getting into levels not seen in quite a while. I think it would bring over 1k on GB.
I've been watching several regular 700 blued walnut sa mountain rifles on gunbroker because I was considering selling mine. The short actions are bringing around 1200. I'd think a stainless laminate would be a steal at that price. Good lookin rifle.
There was a grossly underpriced BIN that lasted about 5 minutes - one of those “damn, missed that!”
Might be time to sell some Remingtons. This is a neat one (‘93 only, first of the stainless mountain rifle contoured era) but already over $1 k? These used to go for $400 ish - obviously condition and box help on this one.
