Bella1 i saw 2 of those in a local gun shop last week in my state of MS. If they are still there would you like me to inquire? I'm sure between the shipping & receiving by your local FFL they'll run you extra money each versus you buying local but at least you'll get some. If they will do it I'm sure they'll take credit card by the phone. Or you can Google yourself. The shop is called Firearms Outfitters in Vicksburg, MS. Several men work in the shop but the owner passed 2 days ago from being in the hospital after a monthly stay in the hospital

Bella,
I'm a 22 Rimfire nut... Tried several rimfires out for my kids===> Cricketts, Savage Rascal, Savage Cub, CZ Scout, Marlin Single-shot. By far the best one in the "Chipmunk/Crickett" size class, is the Savage Rascal.
Advantages of the Rascal over the Chipmunk/Crickett are a loading ramp (the Chipmunk/Crickett the round has to be placed directly in the chamber), a conventional safety, much better receiver sight, better front sight (std. dovetail vs. a plastic ramp) and a Much better and stronger scope mounting system (Crickett/Chipmunk & the Henry have a split receiver and uses an oddball & weak scope mounting system while the Rascal uses Weaver scope bases).
The CZ Scout is better than the Savage Rascal, but it is a larger rifle and quite a bit more money.
The Savage Cub was the pre-curser to the Rascal, about the only difference is that it had a larger (and nicer) wood stock.
The Crickett is the same as the original Chipmunk, except that the Crickett has a plastic front sight, plastic cocking knob and a cheap plastic stock (vs. the Original Chipmunk's wood stock).
Might be on the lookout for some 22LR ammo for them. Don't know about New Mexico but it is pretty much unobtanium around here.

I have one that I bought for my son last year and never ended up using it. I think it's a cricket. It's stainless with a laminated stock. I'll get you more info when I get home this afternoon.

Yep, mine is a cricket. It has a brown laminated stock and stainless barrel. I have the box and everything that came with it. It might have 10 rounds through it. Let me know if you're interested and I can get you pictures or whatever you might need.
