WTB. I'm looking for the buttstock for an early (1927) Savage 99 take down. Mine was damaged by fire some years ago. It has the curved butt (I don't know the bolt length). I might have to go to a new manufacture but, so far, I haven't seen any made for the curved buttplate. I'll try to enclose a photo to show the configuration I need (guess I'll have to send it later as I don't have a good photo right now). The damaged area is up where the stock meets the action. I made the stock extension and added a recoil pad to lengthen the trigger reach to fit my 6' 1" frame.

Thanks, 160. However, that one has already been sold. Also, it was a pistol grip (not perchbelly) and a flat butt plate. I have found new ones that are perchbelly with the flat buttstock but then I'd need to re-cut the butt to fit the plate.

That’s not a perchbelly stock on your gun.

Sorry, just going by what some manufacturers call it. Bottom line, it doesn't really what style it's called as long as it looks like the one on my rifle. I can't even say that the buttstock is original to the rifle but it was on when I got the rifle from my Dad in 1960. It could have even been modified somewhere between 1927 and 1960. That's why I posted the picture.
