If you “do not assume anything” about Jesus’ disciples, then why would you assume anything about me...?

You gonna come up with your own definition of “denies” now...?

I'm willing to put everything out there, not because I'm "holier" but because I'm willing to examine the ideas and I believe The Church is correct because Christ promised it would be. In the end, it boils down to faith that Christ was whom he said He was/is and that He meant what He said and that His promises are fulfilled. I don't have all the answers. Christ does.

The Bible does. At the end of the day it does not matter for a minute what I think or say. What matters is what God knows at judgment.

I absolutely, wholeheartedly, and unequivocally do believe ‘that’.

To the legalistic, pulpit poundin, bible thumpers & the over needy &/or "hypocritical Christians" (this part not aimed at anybody posting in this thread, just personal experience), you are why I chose/choose to worship where ever I am, not in a building.

In order to be convinced that something is true, it's not faith to expect evidence, it's reasonable practice. To believe something without evidence is faith.

Hindus, Christians, Muslims, Jews, etc, have faith in their beliefs.

Atheists, being more careful, are not convinced.

That is the most reasonable position.
