In the market for a set of well-made, durable GPS collars. Has to be a standalone unit - can't be one of those smartphone rigs. Any recommendations?

I have the Garmin Alpha 100 with TT-15 collars. Which means you can track and train with the collars. If you weren't interested in the train portion(shock collar capability) You could get the Garmin Astro with the older collars for tracking only. It would save a bit of money.

Those new gps ones are amazing! Even if your fast lead dog shuts up to try and catch the coyote ya still know exactly we're there gonna cross. Almost not fair, and up here in kanuckastan there coming out with new laws all the time. Remember the days of driving around with binoculars, or driving around worried sick a couple hounds may get hit on the road, sitting at home waiting for the phone to ring.?!! Don't miss those days.
