This thread is hilarious. I can't believe that book only has 10 reviews. Tim's coming out party was a rager. He is working on a christmas sweater book.

WTF writes a book that glorifies wolves in Yellowstone? Any educated conservationist know introduced Canadian grey wolves wiped out over 70 per cent of the elk and moose in TNP. Dumb cowboy Timmy and his anti nature idiot anti science cousin are truly clueless anti conservation clowns. shame on them

Wow cuckboy tim really did disappear!?!?! I do see the book has gained some better reviews. Might be time for another run of campfire members to knock it back down a little.

Not every book can be about cowboys and cattle. His topic is wolves. Don't see the big deal here.

You might start your education with Playing God in Yellowstone, by Alston Chase. The overgrazing was so bad that at one point there were literally no beaver left in the park (though they were everywhere outside the park). Wolves are a natural part of the Yellowstone ecosystem, but like elk, they have to be kept in balance. No wolves in the park at all and massive elk populations to the point of no beaver, is not a balanced ecosystem.

There isn’t a single indigenous species to Yellowstone other than mountain goats and grouse. Everything else was pushed or hauled there by people. It is laughable to see how naive people are to the natural aspects of Yellowstone when they don’t have a clue to what there really wasn’t in Yellowstone until the settlement of the western United States.
I was thinking the other day how much I used to hate Bill Clinton. He was freaking George Washington compared to what they are now.

There isn’t a single indigenous species to Yellowstone other than mountain goats and grouse. You need to check your facts. To start with, goats aren't native to Yellowstone, and there are plenty that are.
