My daughter has been practicing her shooting skills for some time and wanted to take up deer hunting. Wow! that Buck is HUGE. Thanks for sharing. Congrats to her.
Me and my son (14) have been hunting. He shot his first deer at the end of October. We saw what would have been his first buck Saturday morning, but it never presented a good and safe shot.

Awesome buck! Congratulations to your daughter. When you’re a parent you measure your success in a much different way. For sure, and she was so excited! It was great to share this experience together. The really cool part is she spotted this buck herself in September on a walk through the timber. I honestly couldn’t see the buck until she pointed several times and I pulled up my binoculars, finally spotting him some 150 yards distant. Then she asked me if we could hunt for him. I promised her we would try but our family farm gets a lot of pressure these days so it was far from a guarantee. And lucky for both of us I had a can in my hand on this hunt because he came out of the draw in front of us broadside at dusk but immediately turned 90* heading straight away. That’s when he heard “love in a can” and spun around long enough for her to do the rest 👍.
