Should I lower my American flag to half staff?
It takes a lot to get me to lower the flag I so dearly love, but with the demise of our country, perhaps this may be the reason.
It will probably be in recognition of the passing of my brother who is just barely hanging on. He just wanted to vote for Donald J Trump before he died.
I expect to get word of Bob's passing any moment now. Bob was a Navy vet and I'll miss him dearly.
I'd rather die in a BAD gunfight than a GOOD nursing home.

I’m sorry to hear about your brother but I’m glad that as a Patriot he was able to cast his vote for Trump. It’s now up to us to insure that ALL legal votes are counted fairly, even the democraps have the right to have their LEGAL vote counted properly....once!
I don’t think conservatives need to lower or invert the flag since Trump will be the President on the 21st. If the democraps haven’t burned all their flags they might need to invert the flag. If nothing else it’ll help Patriots identify the potential enemies of freedom that live among us.

Since I posted that, I remember when the destroyer I served on, was ordered to the Tonkin Gulf, the old man ordered flank speed and battle flag.
If you ever wanted to see an impressive sight, two US Navy destroyers crashing through the waves with that beautiful 10' x 20' flag on the main mast, well, I will tell you my hair still stands on end when I think of it.
Right now, I think we all need to raise our own battle flags.

Thank you TBREW401, Bob's not gone yet but I expect a phone call most anytime.
Talked to wife yesterday and she said he just slipped into a coma and hospice is there.

Sorry about your brother. Something else I'm sorry for is he is having to say goodbye to this life and his country when it's at such a low point. He deserves to see the Constitution he took an oath to protect be protected by others that took the same oath. Difference is he took that oath to heart and they didn't. God bless him and your entire family!
