When you realize that you are old and are being replaced by people who do not share your values, it begins to be obvious why the country we loved does not exist.
We know from lessons of history that the "new" agenda will not ever work and it is just a disguised play for total power and control. Too many of "We the People" are ignorant of history and cannot think for themselves and have been brainwashed by years of ever increasing socialism.. High tech and a media controlled by socialists has increased the pace of the process. We know this is true because we are old and have witnessed depressions, and wars and propaganda.
And to top it all off, how can there be a "We the People" when our votes are irrelevant?
History tells us that this country was founded by a small percentage of its occupiers who risked everything. The struggle for freedom was aided by great sacrifice, strong moral leadership, timely allies, and good luck. It would be hard to repeat in today's world of surveillance cameras and a government swamp determined to retain power.
To fix the few flaws and omissions of the founding structure that got us to this point would be a monumental effort in a country so divided.
It would be worth the effort and risk because the alternative is serfdom.

The alternative at this stage of the game is very simple. Balkanization. Try it. Commies have never in their bloody history accepted a partial victory. Piles of bones all over the globe bear mute testimony to this fact. Balkanization is a pipe dream. Only a beta male could possibly dream of ceding territory and treasure of this nation to people who are diametrically opposed to us and our way of life. This land is ours, it was gained through vast amounts of blood and effort, and to think of ceding portions of it to communists so that we can put off a fight is repugnant and a slap in the face to all the men and women who have given everything to make America what it is. Whether you like it or not, it is all or nothing. I feel that way, and believe there are many more like me, and those who oppose us all feel that way. Hint: The commies have already taken their pieces of America and are on their way to claim the rest. Now let’s hear your “specifics” to reclaim these Blue states. Be specific in your methodology to accomplish this task. So you admit that your idea of ceding territory to the commies is unsustainable. Good on you. Now, try this. Look at the US map of counties. See all that red? Yeah. The cities can often control the states, and with the current level of fraud, will do so reliably. Not even in dispute. I see it happen all the time, since I am indeed aware of the political situation in this country. Where you and I diverge is you are sitting here hoping for a political solution to the problem. You need to find a way to give those city rats all the freebies the commies promise, while at the same time allowing them the benefits of liberty. Cannot be done, as the two are utterly incompatible. If you want a political solution, you need to figure out how we are going to get representation based on territory controlled, versus the current population scheme. Wrong at its core and a nonstarter. My position is that the red that covers most of the land mass also grows the food, supplies the electricity and usually water to the cities. We don’t vote the commies out, we starve them out. Nobody ever voted their way out of communism. Ever. It either collapses under its own weight, or it is killed off kinetically by the people, a la Romania. I prefer to kill it now. We will never be better armed than we are now. We will never control the food supply as much as we do now. There will never be more freedom oriented citizens than now. The right in this nation needs to come together and refuse to cooperate with leftist areas altogether. No power, no freight, no nothing from us. Our territory needs to become absolutely hostile to leftists. They should not feel safe outside their enclaves. They should find themselves surrounded and cut off by an implacable and relentless nation. Thus, they can be forced to a negotiating mindset, and then, we push them to the edge of extinction, or farther, once we have the control of our own land again. You do not treat communists fairly. You bleed them to death in every way possible. If we expect fair play from these bastards, we are already lost. It is an existential fight, and those are not won politically. It's why nations have armies. We are on the edge of being politically insignificant in real terms. What is your plan for that? Other than losing, of course. His plan seems to be for red states to declare themselves "constitutional 2A sanctuaries" while they still enforce/uphold all the unconstitutional Federal gun laws already on the books, background checks/4473's/tax stamps for suppressors etc.etc... That'll show those fuuckin commies.

Those of us who have experienced the imposition of a tyranny, the abrogation of all rights - starting with confiscation of guns to render the people defenseless - beg to differ with your assessment. Joe's handlers recognize that with the courts neutered through coercive violence, the House and WH in their evil hands, time is of the essence. They also believe that patriots are all talk and no show when it comes to defending our inalienable (GOD GIVEN) rights. As a start, there will be an all out attack on the 2A, including targeted raids, SWAT assaults on individual gun owners to set an example, a few highly publicized killings of those who resist - portrayed as criminals with arsenals. It is painful to realize for many of us on this Forum who have spent a lifetime abiding by the Rule of Law to build and defend this Nation that our last few months or years may call on us to defend the Constitutional Republic against these domestic enemies who now may hold power. Although our reason and human nature rail against accepting this reality, "facts are stubborn things," and will not go away regardless of our denials and wishful thinking that it might be otherwise. The logistics of dismantling a tyrannical govt today aren't the same as they were in 1800. They are what you would call "entrenched" to the tenth power, have every resource known to man at their disposal to quell a patriotic uprising.
We have jobs and mortgages, and no slaves to maintain the plantation while we go away to war. Electronically they could shut our life down in about 30 seconds, and that was not a concern 250 years ago. Back then it was everyone on equal terms with simple geography, weather, and troop numbers the determining factors in the outcome. Now, they hold all the power. Disagree ! Who would the gov't get to fight their battle ? Military votes R by a wide margin. Most fly-over country Law Enforcement are Conservatives . Electronically they could shut us down ? Turn off whatever they want - how about the Right turns off their power/food/water - and one really crazy guy [named ELMO] destroys anything that looks like a satellite/communication doodad ? So now EVERYBODY is shut down for months . Military 1.5million how many would arm up ready to kill ? 10% - doubtful , Law Enforcement numbers - WAY WAY too small to even consider going against a big state militia . Especially when the Militia is a Constitutional Force - which IS the law of the land .

Knowing something is wrong, and taking actions that would be dangerous and could cost you everything, are two very different things.
Most people are not willing to 'go there' until they feel they have nothing left to lose.
As a population, we have not felt any real pain being inflicted upon us by our govt.
If/when that type of pain becomes clear and palpable to the masses, then a hostile reaction will be organic. GR LIKE ........... I just want to be left alone and not robbed of the money I've earned ...
