What is going on with these - watched one on GunBroker sell for $7000? Several more are over $2000 with lots of time left - may have to consider selling my LTDSS if they keep this up? People buying for survival, Jurassic Park is now a thing, Grizzlies are expanding their range - Inquiring minds want to know??

Apparently, the "price box" is smaller than the "value box".
Every time I look at a pic thread of firearms, I end up wanting MORE than the MANY that I already own!

If you can find one, the finish is amazing. It's stainless steel under the nitrided (?) finish. And it came with decent fiber optic sights that I'm told were stock for that model.

He didn't have any more 45/70 ammo, doesn't reload, and was really wanting 9mm. He proposed the trade, and I jumped all over it.

I went to a local ffl by me to do a handgun transfer last week. He has a small gun shop out of his basement. Well on the rack was a brand new 1895sbl came home with me in box for $1099. First time I was ever there. Been back 2 times since buying and supporting him.

Yea, they are insane. I don’t know why they became inflated so quickly except the fact that the demand curve must have shifted way up...sadly, before I pulled the trigger and bought one 😩

Original Marlins are next to priceless, older Remlin generation guns are bringing big bucks.
I wonder if whoever bought Marlin rights from Remington, will continue production of the 1895? Cost?

Ruger bought Marlin. Slated to start producing guns now with sales in fall or winter. Rumored that first model will be a stainless 336 in 30-30.
