I have two Kimber 84L .280 AI 1:8 twist 24" 416R barrels for sale. They're short chambered and ready to be screwed onto a receiver and finish reamed. They're made by Criterion, are button rifled and have no markings on them. Asking $275 plus $25 shipping. They have 7/16-28 threads on the muzzle which is the standard Kimber size. They're made with the same dimensions as the factory 84L Montana barrel but obviously have a slightly faster twist to help with solid copper bullets. Barrel #1 - available Barrel #2 - available Bottom barrel is the Criterion.

Update: I completely forgot that I ordered these barrels with 1/2"-28 muzzle threads to increase wall thickness and make use of standard brakes, suppressor adapters, thread protectors etc. I apologize for the confusion.

The photo is misleading. I had two of the bottom barrel in the photo and sold one to a member here. I still have one for sale if you're interested.
.280 AI 1:8 twist 24" 416R barrel, 1/2-28 muzzle threads, Criterion, button rifled.
Thanks.

I'm glad these are already set up as .280AI. It would be tempting as a 7-08 on my 84M.

....and ready to be screwed onto a receiver and finish reamed. Actually, they need to be finished reamed before screwing into the receiver.

Actually they don't. Kimber completes final headspace once the barrel is torqued onto the receiver. I've done this many times with excellent results.

The tactical rifles were always finish hand reamed after timing and torquing the barrel to the receiver. Everything else was finish reamed using a pull through reamer in combination with the bolt that ships with the rifle. Nowadays they're all hand reamed after timing and torquing.

I'm glad these are already set up as .280AI. It would be tempting as a 7-08 on my 84M. I also have two 7mm-08 Rem barrels with the following specs. I'm keeping one for myself but the other is available. 7mm-08 Rem, 1:8 twist 22" 416R barrel, 1/2-28 muzzle threads, Criterion, button rifled.
