Welp we’re done

Engaged a very nice 8 will tall tines for 35 mins straight. Super thick hardwoods all could see was his rack. Would not budge. Thats just the way it goes.

Got ren to clap hands from 200 away over the hill. Wouldnt budge him. Just kept him locked up behind the perfect alignment of big timber. Tried a push move and he bolted like lighting. No shot.

Im frazzled. lol

Somewhere, 200yds away from where you bumped him, is nice 8-pointer leaning up against a tree with his tongue hanging out, trying to catch his breath.

Should be one of two things, you got a hot doe in that bunch or he's building back strength from the main rut chowing like Rene at the Saturday night buffet at CiCis. Hope he sticks around. Free advice from 3000 miles away. LOL

Well, look at it this way-

You had nothing to lose.
And everything to possibly gain.

Mentally ....
Lol 45 mins of keeping an eye on that buck.
Hoping for a shot

I moved about 20 yds to try a move and get him moving that buck bolted hard.
He pegged me hard from where slumlord was watching him
Fugg..........

He knew something wasnt right when I pushed him earlier when I thought I heard foot falls and bounding sounds.

Wary as fugg not wanting to move.

We went txt msg when he told me he was watching a buck.

The power level on the screen shots is since I got home.

Give me a few to let ya all look at the paul harvey rest of the story.

Lol!!!

Yep....
Thats what I was telling slumlord.
Little fella was pretty discouraged.
I told him plenty of does in that spot.
We just had a encounter with him
Confirmed a mature buck has satellited in.

Buck wins 1st rd.

Others he might be around a doe that will lead him to his demise.

We are stand hunting in the morning.
