This book is about the first Scout-Sniper platoon in the Marine Corp. It's written by the son of its C.O. it was verified by some of the living veterans of the platoon. Outstanding story with information I have never read about before, i.e. the Japanese resupplied their Subs on the big island! Check it out, it's a great read! The author is named Joseph Tachovsky.
