I have a Steyr SBS in 223, the rifle feeds from the right side of the magazine but will jam on the second and 4th shots which feed from the left side. Any ideas on fixing this? The jam puts the point of the bullet into the barrel face and the mag has to be removed to unjam the rifle. Thanks for any help. Elmer P. S. this rifle is blue synthetic and is scary accurate.

I have owned two Steyr-Mannlicher SBS rifles, and still have one. All the SBS models I have seen have been detachable box magazine rifles and the rounds feed to the center position, then into the chamber.

Which model do you have?...thanks...jim

Mine is a detachable magazine sbs in 223. the magazine feeds from both side the SSG is a single feed.
