We have a turkey hen with our laying hens. She has her own laying nest and consistently lays daily. My wife saved up a dozen and made deviled turkey eggs for Christmas dinner. My Dad said: We may be the only ones in the world to be having deviled Turkey eggs for dinner. Been years 20-25 but when we had turkeys mom would make them sometimes.
Also had turkey eggs to dye as Easter eggs

Just bigger...otherwise no difference. We eat them fried, scrambled, & poached all the time.
The Turkey was hatched and raised with these hens...they don’t know any difference.

I noticed seagull eggs taste the same as chicken eggs, just bigger.
Had a lady ask me once how did I know the eggs where fresh? That’s easy
Got a seagull colony about a mile from the house— soon as the ice goes out go out there and throw all the eggs in the lake— come back next day and get the fresh ones. Sometimes get a dozen sometimes only a couple.

Never turkeys but we used to have a few geese (danged messy things). A boiled goose egg was big enough to cut into steaks. My wife developed an allergy to them so we got rid of them. I certainly celebrated that day.

Don't have turkeys anymore so can't try that, but once my ducks start laying again I'll have to try those. I find the duck eggs to be slighty superior to chicken eggs overall.
