I got a Bob Kramer chefs knife. Definitely not needed for my skill level but I’m really going to enjoy using it.

My wife got me a set of silicone coated utensils for my birthday this year, Big spoon, ladle, and a spaghetti server/fork thingie. My old one fell apart and two different kinds of glue wasn't holding it together any more..................she decided I needed new anyway.

Bought me some new shirts and underwear for Christmas too.....................decided I needed some new ones, was tired of looking at my Holy ones. grin

My wife and girls got me a blackstone griddle. We’ve been busy and short handed at work so I’ve not been able to use it yet.

I got a King Arthur butter bell. I was fine with taking the butter our of the fridge 30 minutes before meals, but now I have a butter bell that requires regular maintenance.

Wife got a manual citrus press as a stockting stuffer. The big bright colored enameled ones you see on the cooking shows.

Well that is our intent. We did 4 Rib Eyes Christmas night, finished them with a sear in a large cast iron skillet. Came out perfect.

My wife's boss gave me another set of Kamikota knives. This was the Kuro series, made from Zirconium Dioxide, not steel. They are dang sharp.

Yup, got the standard everyone's grandma had one glass juicer.

Also a electric juicer from the 1990's Betty Crocker branded. Not a fancy dump the fruit in and it spits out juice one side fiber the other. This one just turns a standard reamer and the juice falls thru slots into container.

I got one of these burger press/spatula combos for my Blackstone. It's a bit heavy, but all in all I think it will work great.

Know fat, know flavor. No fat, no flavor.

I tried going vegan, but then realized it was a big missed steak.
