Ebay seller had a pair of Columbia wool pants. I wanted them, but needed them FAST. I offered to pay Fed-X so i get them in 2-days. Seller said not to worry about it, they pants would get there, and she only ships USPS.
Whatever. She can keep 'em.

As a kid, I was always amazed at how high the bidding went at farm auctions for ordinary firearms that had spent their lives hanging from a nail in a corn crib and used alternately to shoot rats and to club them.

The worst is an Oregon swap meet. Those people don't throw anything away. They're always like, "will you trade me my rusty steak knife with the missing wooden handle on one side and this 2 foot section of broken bike chain for your new unfired Weatherby Europa in 8x68s." True Story.

I funded an out of state Colorado mule deer hunt one year. Bought bunch of coffee mugs at the flea market for under $10 and sold all of them for close to a Grand on the fleabay.

There's been times where no vendor has had 223 dies in stock lately. Ever spend an extra $20 to get something you want? Hell, I know I have.

So why the hell does it matter? Let me guess... you're a libertarian. Let me guess, you’ve never bought a drink out of a machine? I mean, why buy 1 for $1 when you can get 12 for $5? If you saw the Houge grips for $2, would you pay more since you think they are “worth” more?

If that made sense, or had anything to do with anything I actually said, I could perhaps offer a response....

I buy on eBay all the time. It’s the best and most active marketplace for a lot of things.

If you ever sell anything on Ebay, start very low. I've had things not sell when listed just under their value. When I relisted starting at a buck, they sold much higher than their value on average.

So why the hell does it matter? Free market economy. People get jealous when other people make money. Instead of bitching, go to Amazon snd buy 10 sets of the $36.00 dies, list on ebay, sell for $56.00. $200 profit, easy Peasy. Well, s hit. I'm a year and a half from retirement after a 47-year career of daily drudgery, misery, and general unpleasantry...and I find this out now... so I figure I got sumpin to bitch about. No one bothered to explain free enterprise to me, I thought we had to work for a living. LOL.
Don't be the darkness.
