I need to learn this.

Not uber impressed with factory options for my 480 and if I'm gonna cast for that, may as well 45Colt and 45 ACP (should I swing a new 1911 soon)

Seems like it might be worth knowing.

I might be weird but I think it's enjoyable, I got a lot to learn but these will shoot.

I might even try powder coating next time.

I have a couple hundred pounds of lead roof pipe flashing and some water services.

Soft stuff.

Probably just make some catfish sinkers soon as I get my moulds back from Bowine.

I have a lot of that soft lead too. I just add about 1 lb of babbit for every 10 of lead and get a nice alloy just a little harder than wheel wieghts. The babbit use to be sold by oil field supply stores for pouring new wire cable connections on winch lines and such.

Been collecting lead for 40× years got 2+ tons anyway. 15 years back I built a sand filled backstop on my 50 yard range.98%+ recyclable. Sieve out the lead and melt into ingots recast into bullets. Mb

I've been looking for a Lee .311 round ball mold.

Finally found one on Ebay this morning. New in the box. Already at $100 with 6 days to go. ...and it's the $20 2-cavity mind you.

Fugging hilarious. Recession my Azz.

Anyway, let me check my box, I MAY still have one of those laying around I can send your way.
