Steak knife?
WTF?
That's weird.
My right pocket has a cheap little CRKT something.
Pretty sharp, it has a great splinter digging point and also
cuts anything that would screw up the Spyderco clipped to my pocket.
Either can cut my food, depending on what's under it.
A decent knife, that I want sharp, is not going to be used on a ceramic or metal plate.
I never quite understood the fancy steak knife thing.
Guys won't use a serrated knife to cut something they are going
to chew, mix with spit, and eventually turn into schitz?
These same guys, cutting a steak on a very hard and unforgiving surface,
Will run a 20 page thread on cutting boards. Extoling the virtues of pine as opposed
to maple in preserving the knife edge.
Because it's softer!
Again,
WTF?
But, this is coming from an unwashed hillbilly.
We are so dumb we don't even know what we don't know.
