Thanks Joe!
.308 win
R700 action
Pac Nor barrel finished at 20-3/4”
Magnum contour at the lug and the muzzle is .670, it’s just a skosh heavier than a magnum contour.
McMillan HTG stock
Nightforce NXS 2.5-10x42
She ain’t light and she ain’t heavy but it balances and points perfect for me. I can’t remember what it weighs but I will find out.

Thanks! This is probably my favorite rifle now; it hammers with cheap-ass Win ammo. A .30-06, 4X scope and 180 grain ammo...what else do you need? And it's gorgeous in a steel and walnut way.

1954 action, mint 1955 30-06 barrel, refinished Featherweight stock.

It’s now wearing a Leupold VX-II 2x7 gloss scope.

Great set-up, but I gotta ask: What 4x? Looks like an old Weaver.

It's a Lyman All-American. Later Permacenter version. It went back to the Lyman folks years ago to get a duplex reticle, tune-up and a reseal. For an older scope (early '80's) it's clear and bright.

Thanks. I wish someone with some pull would get one of the companies to make a 4x again. I know markets, economics, etc., but Meopta makes a 6x hunting scope and someone must be buying it as they're still making it. That Lyman looks good on that rifle.

New place I bought has limestone fence posts. I'll get a pic of one of those with a Win 94 on it, maybe a dead deer somewhere around it. For now, have to use a deer.
