Purge Anarchy was better than the first Purge movie.
Michael Bay directed.
I couldn’t find it for free. Worth the $3.99 rental.

Expanding the topic, I had dropped HBO Max several months ago. Never watched much on it except a few of the better series - Sopranos, BoB, Pacific, Rome, Deadwood, GOT (heck, those are almost worth the price of admission by themselves), most of the movies they got seemed to be only second rate.
Last night I was looking something up and found it was on HBO. Looked around the site and saw they had some shows from other networks/streaming services I'd wanted to see but wasn't going to pay for just for those shows. I see they've added TCM which was one of the only 3-4 channels I ever watched on cable TV, plus Warner will simultaneously release all of their movies in theaters and HBO, like Wonder Woman 1984. So I'm back on HBO.
I remember watching HBO back in the 70's when it first came out. Nekkid wimmen on home TV, that's progress!
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

So revolutionary for the times to get movies long before they would normally find their way to TV. You had your tuner hooked to a wire that led to an antenna in your attic. Our neighbors got it years before we did, and we thought it was so cool to watch movies in their living room that were just in the theaters a few months previous.

Haven't had HBO since the 1990s.
Thru AMZ since March.
Watching Boardwalk Empire currently.
Seen most of the good series I'd missed over the years.
Have access to HBOMax probably watch the WW84 when the Grandkid is over next.

Fugging Amazon automatically paid itself for our Prime membership and did not tell us.
We turned it in as fraudulent.
Now we have no TV.

Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.

Southland, series on HBO Max. LAPD, several different perspectives, Patrol, Homicide, Gangs etc. Some PC BS but pretty gritty and well written, acted and directed.

Rented that one from Blockbuster a while ago, definitely a good flick. We tend to forget that there were actually Koreans fighting in the Korean war. Wait, wut? There are still Blockbuster stores out there? I thought the whole chain disappeared years ago.

Certainly one of my favorite movies. Panned by the critics, loved by those of us who like good storylines. I love where the witch says “Wars are won in the will. Perhaps you are fighting in the wrong fields.” And near the end, when Ibn prays: “Merciful Father, I have squandered my days with plans of many things. This was not among them. But at this moment, I beg only to live the next few minutes well. For all we ought to have thought, and have not thought; all we ought to have said, and have not said; all we ought to have done, and have not done; I pray thee God for forgiveness.” If you've never seen The 13th Warrior, it's available on Prime this month, and is a great flick. +1 The part where the Arab learns Norse is just what learning a language by immersion is like. Caught this one the other night via Prime. Pretty dang good.
