Anyone tried these? They look good, "lazer eyes & holograms" and the price is right, $3.50.

I looked at them but decided to go name brand.
I spend too much time, effort and money to go fishing.
If an expensive lure will catch 1 more fish than a cheap lure, I consider it money well spent
Once I’m on the water, I fish the best lures I have.
A cheap lure will stay in my tackle box taking up space.
Rapala, Yo-Zuri and Lucky Craft make up 95% of what I use.

For the most part I agree with this. Usually when I cheap out at the store the lure stays in the tackle box.

I'm the opposite. I am loathe to tie on a $20 lure and risk losing it (as I have seen too many other anglers do) when a $5 lure seems to catch just as many fish.

I've always used and have several tackle boxes of name brand lures. Someone gave me six of the XTS nib so I'll give them a try. Speaking of name brand lures the Rebel Pop R is a good one that doesn't cost an arm & a leg, Over the years it's been a consistently good topwater lure that's worked for me and others I've fished with about as well as any.
