Wondering what you professioals use? For the last 10 years the shop I work at has used Brownells products pretty succesfully. Now with my home gunsmithing services I was planning to purchase the same but it has not been available for the past seceral months. A rem 700 and a multi purpose. Any and all sugestions would be helpfull.

I have been using the ones that Brownells sells and they have worked well. I also use their wood block blanks that go in their barrel vise. I have used their rosin as well as powdered sugar to keep the barrels from slipping in the blocks. I don't have a wrench for Rem actions and just bought my first for Savage actions. Happy

Well you could cut the barrel off about 6 inches in front of the receiver and weld a big nut on it. Stick did at least one that way, Hah! I saw a inside action wrench made from a Remington SA bolt that was cut off in front of the handle and a half inch extension welded to it.
