How long is a fair time to wait for someone to contact you with payment and ship info once they say they will take an item?

In my mind 24 hours tops. If they take the time to post the magic words they should be able to carve out 2 minutes of their life to send you a PM with contact info.

I agree with that also runs the other way the person should be able to ship the item immediately at least the next business day if you can’t do that you shouldn’t have something in the classifieds. I understand there’s a rare emergency that comes up but other than that once an item is paid for it should be on the road to the person by the next business day

I usually ship stuff the day it is paid for if it is early enough in the day. Going to wait until tonight then relist the item.

How long is a fair time to wait for someone to contact you with payment and ship info once they say they will take an item? Did you reach out to the buyer? Communication is a two way street. If you sent them a PM and they have not responded after 48 hours I would relist.

Sent a message and replied in the forum with no reply back. I don’t want to relist if there was an emergency just thinking they might have changed their mind or something. It has been well over 24 hours since i replied back to the poster. When i get home tonight i will relist it if they have not replied back. I have sold many items here over the years this is the first time with no reply back. Don’t want to sell it out from under them but would like to know if they actually still want it.

If this is about the scope, he said he'd take it, but then hasn't been logged in since.
I'd give him the benefit of the doubt, shlt happens sometimes that can't be avoided.
He lists his email in his profile, try contacting him through that.
