Asking for a friend, really. He wants to sell his like new, 4 rounds fired, bought new, Rem 750 Carbine with 18 1/2" barrel, wood stock. Also has a bunch of factory ammo available.
What's it worth? Is it a desirable rifle?
Thanks.

750s known for jamming, still desirable in some parts where semis are able to be hunted with, 600ish because of caliber, caliber very desirable and the carbine helps it.
guns to me are like legal crack

That's not too encouraging.

Have him put it on Gunbroker, all bets are off how high it may sell for. I have had good luck starting out at $.01, with no reserve. Have the auction end on a Sunday night. Plenty of good pictures can make a huge difference.

I think a 750 in 35 Whelen ~ $750
I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

You might want post your question on the Huntingchat forum. It’s a hunting forum that focuses on the Northeast U.S. and carbines mostly pumps but some semi autos are popular.

Best of luck. I had one of these in 35 Whelen and wished I never let it go. It didn’t jam and was very accurate (I was shocked). I would love to own another one in 35W, even if it’s a newer Remington lol.

After looking on line I think $750 is a little low, Make that $800 to $850.
I have never had functioning problems with Remington 7400,74, 4 rifles - I believe that functioning problems were due to an error of the one shooting the rifle. The 750 was a deluxe version.
