So far, we haven't found a bullet hole in the roof. (Knock on wood smile )

Mark! I remember you getting one shot thru your old house! I was on duty Y2K night at the Dist. HQ. Sounded like Tet ‘68 across hwy in the barrio. Could Hear spent bullets landing on our whse roof and in the parking lot.

Yeah, but that 32 came & went through 4 panes of glass and 2 layers of drywall - in the summer, but not even close to the 4th of July.
Cops said just kids having fun - they shot through an apartment bldg down the road.
The next year, someone dinged 2 windows with a pellet gun, one in the house and one in the office.
We haven't been a target in quite a while - hope it holds! smile smile smile

Same, brother.

I'll do the usual, and try to stay awake. It won't work. smile

Probably be in bed by 10 pm like I have been every year for awhile now on NYE. Too damn old for all the B.S.. It's been 40 years ago tonight since I last fired a gun in the air on NYE and I was in an area where you could get away with it. Besides; it was just my 12 ga. High Standard pump with bird shot.

Our end of year work is always crazy. This year was no different.

Momma got escargot and French bread done yesterday. It was great. Chocolate soufflé for desert. I'm about to go to bed.

Jealous about the Blanton's. I used to walk into the liquor store and buy three bottles at a time. Haven't seen it here in years.

My fiance just basically passed out from too much wine. She told me to wake her up in a couple of hours.

Probably asleep in 15 minutes. That would be 2100 @ Central STD time. Night all. Be Well, RZ.

Music turned up here so the pups don’t hear the fireworks or firearms. Panic city for them.

Ain’t even 10 yet and it’s Stalingrad out there, dogs are stuck right to me, they actually tremble and pant and get glassy-eyed with fear.

Only thing I can figure maybe this sort of panic figures into wildfire response in ancestral wolves.
