Is there a thread on the Bergara rifles. Saw one and stupidly picked it up and now it is stuck in my head. Are they as they say they are or not ?? Thanks Ray

Will find out.
Bought my son one a few weeks ago. Slickest action I've ever felt.
LGS said they used to be a HEAVY Tikka shop, got some Bergara's in and they've over taken them for sales very quickly and they don't really keep the Tikka on hand anymore. Accurate at a good price.
When I was there, I counted 2 Tikkas on the shelf, a good dozen B14s and 6 Christensens.

I've been told they will make a Tikka obsolete. Trouble is, you can't find them.

Gun guy at local shop swears by them for accuracy, especially at the price point

Friend has a 300 prc that shoots really well. I looked at the lefties but really don’t need another gun.

I don't trust a rifle made in Spain.

My HMR 6.5CM is every bit the equivalent of a 700. I like them, but only have a sample of one.
Now with even more aplomb

I just transferred one for a buddy in 243Win. He hasn't really loaded for it but it is s shooter. Now about making Tikkas obsolete I would not go that far.I love my Tikkas and they are great shooters as well. It is good to have choices.

I love Tikkas and I was wondering what I was missing in these Bergara rifles. I have never fired on.... must be decent..

I wish they were lighter, especially in the smaller calibers to compliment them. I'm sure they are great for the heavier recoiling 7mm mag, 300win mag, etc.

Friend of mine who is the pickiest person I know when it comes to guns, really likes the Bergara rifles, and he's the one who told me that they are better than any Tikka he's ever had. That was his opinion. I've never had a Bergara, and my one and only Tikka was okay, just not my thing.
