My Dad gave this to me along with the box that I though was original The box lists a S/N of K9742XX but on the pistol itself the only numbers I see are 07124.
Which one is the actual S/N?
If anyone has any words of wisdom I appreciate some help. Thanks

What the box says, if it's the correct box. Where did you get the number off the gun?

S&W serial numbers are on the bottom of the grip frame.

S&W serial numbers are on the bottom of the grip frame. This...........you might need to remove the grips to see it.

I got the number on the gun by ejecting the cylinder and it was behind the cylinder on the frame
|
