For some odd reason, I have the desire for a upland game over under 16 gauge. I am most interested in a Browning Citori. The nicer the wood the better. Please let me know what you may have for sale. Thank you in advance...

I'm experiencing the same symptoms, I hope it's not contagious!!! Good luck with your search!

Look for a 16 bore Citori Gran. They are a non catalog to item, I find the ones built in 03 to have by far the best wood. Only downside is I’ve never seen them with 30 inch barrels, 26 and 28 only as far as I know

And, if you buy a Gran 16 ga, if nice wood is important to you, be sure see the actual wood on the gun you are buying. They vary a lot.

You may want to expand the search a bit to include all of the steel frame guns and all grades. I happen to have a 28” Superlight 16 that I like a lot.

Scheels has the Franchi SLX in 16 gauge for $1800. Seems like a pretty nice gun. I handled one yesterday and it has to weigh less than 6lb. Thinking hard about getting one
