I found this in the rack at the Cabelas in Farmington, UT.


As pictured, it weighs 6# 6 oz.





They obviously started with a LH short action Rem 700 and made some facing cuts.

Also added a Timney trigger. The stock is surprisingly trim. I expected it to be chunky like an HS-Precision.



They had another lefty Christensen in 30-378 that seemed like it would be a tad more fun than I was up for.

It should be good in the end, but I may send it to Shaen. I think that the feed rails need to be opened up more. But I intend to shoot it first to get a sense of the accuracy before I invest more money in it.

I think it would be the perfect backpack gun in grizzly country. If I don't go full tactical 30 mm tube scope I should be around 7.5#

You just don't luck into LH customs all that often. At least I don't see them.

Wise move. I dropped a 7 RUM barreled action into a KS stock. 6.5 pounds all up. After two rounds, decided that was "too much of a good thing." Put it back in the LSS stock.

I have the same rifle in 300WSM.

Oddly enough ive a strange levergun and controlled feed bolt gun fetish for the past couple years so only Ruger Hawkeyes or left hand Mausers get me excited. Yeah, im a weirdo in that reguard.
