well back in the day, you could deal with that sort of insolence differently than you can today. A friend of mine has his great grandfather’s S&W Triple Lock 44 spec revolver. He was an old time Sherriff in Waco, Tx. If you try to sight down the barrel, you’ll notice it’s slightly bent. He told him when he was a kiddo, that it got that way because he had to slap a surly niqqer bitch upside the head with it because she had an “attitude”. 🤠 Also, he had killed two bank robbers with it in a shootout before he bent the barrel.

Funny thread. I caught "the look" twice in the last 2 days.
First time was yesterday at The Dollar Store. Little Tati must have not got any beans with her Taco Bell order, glared at me through my whole transaction and then threw the receipt at the bag she had just put my 2 BIG rolls (not 1) of Scotch Tape in. I've been shopping in this store for years. Never had a foul word to or with her.
Second time was at the smoothie shop today. Not a whitey in sight workin'. Shantequa and Latoya are getting headsy with me (big whitey) while I'm at the register placing my order. Just as they're giggle-grab-ass routine is getting going real good, (the "private" joke was on me), I asked if Marylou was around. (Yeah, that's the owner I've known for about 10+ years). Well, the both of them looked like they'd just seen Michael Jackson walk in the door when Marylou came through the swinging door to the right of us at that very second with some groceries. I waved at her and said Howdy as she rounded the corner to the back.. and dropped a dollar in the tip jar. The looks on their faces were worth every penny. Marylou is a very sweet lady and hires people on work release, trains them, gets them back on their feet, merging smoothly back into society. I'm sure the 2 female Meadowlarks had no clue that I know all of that.

Fast food places are the worst. Besides,.. burger joints have gotten too expensive. I can eat at a very nice Mexican sit down restaurant and be served by friendly, well groomed hispanics who serve up *real* food for about the same price that I pay for some slop burger with who knows what on it. Yeah, way back when we were allowed to go to a restaurant...

I worked in the Beaumont Texas GE service shop for 4 years. I like the black men I worked with and on the average I liked them better than the ass kissing white rednecks. I did get fired for knocking the snot out of a Lebanese ahole but it didn't stick because none of the blacks would admitting to seeing anything.

We have maybe three families I know of in this town. I think there are more but they keep to their selves and I do the same. I have only had difficulties in KC MO. I always wondered about why people don't want to be called ni qqer but they act like one? Most of them act like one when they are in prison. Yeah I was dumb enough to work there for 24 years. Most of them leave this town fast when they get out. Be Well, RZ.

Very few groids in the Redoubt. Some in the larger cities like Spokane and Boise. Mostly average folks. Not much of a problem. Left Coast is loaded with groids wit attitude. Enjoy

Spent a week with the family up in S. Carolina, arrived the day after Christmas. Wife said we needed some bread so off to the store I go. Found what I needed and headed to the cashier. Gal was about 5’7”, 250# give or take, and had her hair up in a rainbow colored wad on top of her head.
She asked if I had 3 different discount cards they used and I said no 3 times. Gave her a $20 when she rang it up. She threw the change on the floor and just glared at me.
What were they thinking when they brought all those folks from Africa back in the day? Choose your insult words carefully and you can get just about anyone to swing on you. After that it is purely self defense.

In all fairness, half the employees there (almost all black workforce) are pretty friendly, but some are reeking attitude.
