That's actually a compliment!
One of our readers suggested a few years ago that we publish a book including all of our issues of RIFLE LOONY NEWS, our quarterly on-line magazine. We thought that was odd, because anybody who subscribes also gets Internat access to ALL the issues we've ever published. So why would anybody want a book? He explained that he printed the issues, and kept a stack of stapled-together issues next to the toilet. He even sent a photo to prove it. He thought his wife would prefer an actual book.
So we posed the question of whether we should publish a book in the next issue of RLN, and a lot of subscribers said they'd buy one. Among the reasons were for when they went to deer camp, where there wasn't any Internet service.
So we printed 250 copies of the first five years of RLN, just to see if it would indeed sell. We had to print more within a few months, and now there are two editions, the first five years and the second five years....

I ordered all three Gun Gack books over the holidays. I read the first book in one sitting; no, not on the toilet!  I'm trying to take my time with the other two Gun Racks. They are very enjoyable reading, so I'll probably have to order up the Rifle Looney News books, as well.
Thoroughly enjoying Alaska since 2001.
