I haven't seen anything on here with these type of scope mounts. Can somebody help me out with some experience or knowledge on this subject? What I have seen is that the scope has no turrets, and is a fixed power.

I have an old Balvar scope on an EG. The adjustments are made in the mount/rings. It's variable, but something like 1-2.5 or some such. It is a usable, and quite clear scope, but the variable part is more gimmick than useful. I guess they had to start somewhere.
I think I also a larger Balvar on a Winchester. The mounts are a bit different.

I have a Balvar scope and B&L base on one of my 308F’s. Holds true and shoots very well.

Slightly off topic, but I have a Lyman 3X Stag scope that doesnt have adjustment knobs, the mounts used back then for it were used for adjustments. I have googled a few times and have found hardly anything about this scope.
