And we’re supposed to believe voting by mail is safe??? Someone tried kinda hard to make sure that it wouldn't be.

They delivered an empty box to me. It was cut open and the contents removed. The box contained two M14 complete barrel assemblies. I contacted the "postal police" and was told that they don't deal with stolen property. It'll be fedex or ups from now on.

They sure had no problems shipping bogus ballots from NYC to Philly overnight. That was to lancaster, then the trailer disappeared

I sent a 1956 kowa 3-9x42 to raton. New Mexico and it got there in 4 days!!! Only problem was the box didn’t contain the scope. Someone cut the box open and borrowed it somewhere between Albuquerque and raton. Likely Las Vegas. It is a jungle out there and I guess they coulda took the whole box but hat might have alerted usps that it was an inside job. Sure glad I forgot to get insurance on it. Been an awful year and I was glad to see it go out as awful as it began. Happy 2021 🤞

I got a package on Saturday, 12/26/20 that was put into the USPS stream on 12/01/20 as a Priority Mail package with an expected delivery date of 12/04/20 from 06461 to 68135. The shipper ought to get a refund for the 25 day in-transit time.

Same thing here. Midway finally got 6.5 PRC brass in stock on 12/15 and I was lucky enough to get 250 pieces. Well my luck was short lived because that box is sitting in Maryland and hasn’t moved since 12/19🙄

I bought some brass from a guy that lives an hour south of me. Didn't see me getting down towards his area and where he lives, it's usually congested. So, I just paid the $9 for shipping. Today is day 9 and the brass still isn't here!

Save the money you would normally spend on insurance in a savings accout. It's only a matter of time until you'll need the extra money to repay what was lost. USPS insurance is a scheme that results in a near 100% profit for them.

I got an envelope today containing a payment sent from MI on 9 DEC. Also a package came from CT that was mailed on 9 DEC. Still waiting on an order from Larry Potterfield that shipped a week before I placed a second order. The second order arrived last week while the first one is still in St Louis.

WOW That is unreal. At least things are starting to arrive. Dinny just noticed your tag line. Are you a Medic? I retired 3-20-2020 as a FF/EMT. An interesting way to make a living for sure. Safe shooting Doug

I just had to stand in line at 2 different post offices to find out why my Incoming Certified Mail envelope showed out for delivery on 12-29 and then nothing else. Package shipped 12-18 from about a 6 hour drive away by First Class. Had already sent in a online message and talked to the call center on the phone. They said go to local PO. 1st PO closest to me said they don't deal with the carriers and sent me to the second. Took me 40 minutes to get to talk to someone at the second. She went looking around and found it in their Certified letters section. Could not answer why it was not delivered or retried. Just basically shrugged.
Kind of infuriating to have no answer why they just left it lying there without contacting me or leaving a note on my door.
So now I can finally pack up and ship my buyer his mags.

Having retired from the USPS (and working on the mail handling side), most people cannot fathom the MILLIONS of packages and hundreds of Millions of letters that pass through a distribution center EVERY DAY. Most of the areas are understaffed and overworked. The Service isn't allowed to refill vacated positions or even hire temporary help. Been there, done that so give them a break.

Maybe they were somewhere in this mess. Not a single person in any of those pics. After further review I see one.

All I have to say about the USPS is that my 700 BDL 7 mag made it to their sort facility and was stolen.... their words. Then after filling out their form THREE times to collect my insurance payment and being declined all three times that I will NEVER ship anything of value through them EVER again.

My outgoing is currently caught up to a package shipped out Dec. 8th. Several mailed more recently have been delivered, but that is how far back they go currently
