This is starting to get weird. Walking around right now with no gloves and just a hoody.
Usually this time of year I'm on here crying about -30F and snow.
Not the case now.
Crazy warm, record setting highs.
I hope Mother Nature isn't saving the cold air for March and April!

I'd say - average. Teens and 20s recently.
Not much snow.

It was almost 60 on Christmas and rained.
We only have about 3 inches of snow on the ground. Long range forecast looks like 30s during the day and 20s at night. Making logging very difficult this winter.

Pool temp dropped down to 68* over Christmas but has recovered to 75*.
Thank God.

48 degrees here in Virginia and enough rain to drown a duck.
If you are not actively engaging EVERY enemy you encounter... you are allowing another to fight for you... and that is cowardice... plain and simple.

I've noticed it for the last 5 years. No ducks migrating south anymore. We used to have ice all late December and January. We haven't had ice for thr last 5-6 years. Ducks aren't coming anymore either.

We got about a foot of snow here on 17 December. Over Christmas Eve we got about 2 inches of rain and temperatures in the upper 40s, so needless to say, the snow is gone. It’s been kinda soggy and warm, which doesn’t go well with flintlock ignition, so I ain’t been doing much with the smoke pole. This morning we got some freezing rain and ice, and it’s snowing pretty hard right now. I don’t know if it’s gonna amount to anything. We’ve had 3 fairly mild winters in the past 3 years, we may be due. If I can’t hunt, it might as well warm up so I can get into something else. 7mm

It’s not here I North Dakota either. It’s almost like living in Montana the banana belt. Right at melting and about 4 inches of snow total. Burn more tires please. We like this global warming. The farmers getting record crops up here like it also. Edk

you just mentioned the "w" word in Montana. Dammit man are you crazy? This is starting to get weird. Walking around right now with no gloves and just a hoody.

Here, snow on the ground since mid Nov. Some nights in the single digits, most in the teens. Days are all over the place. The big lake out west, I heard has 12-15" of ice.

Wait for it, winter will show up like it always does in MT.
It's currently warmer in MT than IA.

Just been rain, rain and more rain here in south Jersey for the past month. Started to rain when I was out deer hunting on New Year's eve. As it was getting dark, it changed over to snow for a short time. That was nice to see during the last sunset of the year.

Weather has been goofy in western WA the last few years. The rain seems like its been heavier mid-NOV to mid-JAN, and a lot more wind than in the past. 20” of out annual 35-39” has been those three months. It’s been a really windy winter. “Winter” weather doesn’t seem to set in until mid-JAN and only lasts through FEB. Then, it has dried out in MAR/APR and gotten rainy again in May/June. Summers have been short but really dry.

A bit colder than average (30’s) down here early December, 30’s and 40’s for lows now, pretty much average.
The last really cold snap I can recall (teens) was around this time 30+ years ago.
